Around Midnight, on 2-9-07, controversial Queens Bred rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is on his way into the Youtube hall of fame for his gritty, street video single “The Funeral”, which is aimed at Dipset’s Honcho, Harlem rapper Cameron “Cam’ron” Giles. Just moments after the video was uploaded, youtube received thousands of hits. “This is the first time we have ever seen a video get so many hits in such little time”, says a Google Representative. “It has over 82,000 views is the highest ranked video on Youtube right now. So far, 50 Cent has received 23 Youtube honors, less than 13 hours. We will continue to monitor the status of this video. If “The Funeral” can excel in its ranks, it will be added to Youtube’s “Hall Of Fame” and “Most Popular Videos”.
