I think they're both great, but the first one isn't an original area, and you should perhaps add more tree's to it in the bear area or something, looks empty.
Same with the bit with vases of flowers on the 2nd one, other than that its great ;P

I dont paticularly like the top room, because the bit with the chairlift looks messy and the rest looks empty. Also, what are the gingerbread houses in the corner supposed to be?

I like the lodge room though. Id have the vases running all along the wall instead of stopping half way, but aside from that it's done nicely. 9/10

the bottom one is much better

in the top one, add more trees around the polar rugs and possibly snow patches.
In the bottom add a bit more to the corridor.

8/10 so far
