On Monday, eBay.Com announced the banning of selling virtual goods from online games such as Habbo and World of Warcraft. However the ban does not affect the virtual world of Second Life. eBay says they moved to this decision because it is not the selling of real items and is impossible to track. Any persons caught selling virtual goods over eBay will face an immediate permanent ban.

Second Life is still on there because the person selling it, is the owner. Not Linden Labs.

Second Life can still be put on ebay because they have a partnership with Ebay. A big part of Second Life is the economy it is based on buying and selling Linden.
It sucks because I sell TSO stuff on there ;l

Good, that sort of thing is against the T&C of most internet games isn't it?
