Hangover Tips

Hey guys.

I was out all night last night and today I am completely hungover, haha.

So are a couple of my friends and we were discussing hang over techniques! =p Lol.

One of my mates was saying they had a big glass of chilled Irn Bru then a full English breakfast. I don't drink Irn Bru or eat that type of thing, so I don't do that myself lol.

I just had a cup of tea and a warm shower to wake me up. I'm still feeling quite bad just now though... Lol.

So - what do you do to recover from your hangover(s)?! :)

i dont get a hang over from beer, i do from vodka, when its vodka i am in bed all day feel sick as hell

Yeh I don't get them often, unless I do shots lol.

Last night I actually didn't even have many drinks on their own, but I had loads of straight vodka shots. Then it was shots of baileys mixed with creme de minth (or something haha).

I'm feeling all sicky and minging, lol. :(

I haven't tried that but apparently it's the only one that works.

If you are going to drink alcohol, for every drink you have, you must have atleast 1 cup of water. Your body uses up alot of water to drain out all the alcohol inorder to flush it out. When you have a hangover, its jsut a sign that your body is deprived of water.

I simply created this thread to get a wide perspective on how different people cure their hangovers in their own indivudal ways out of curiosity. I have as much right to do so as you do to post here.

I was posting a cure - you shouldn't really be on a computer if you are hungover, it just makes it worse.

drink 5 pints of water before i go to bed, and that way you wake up completely sober :o

There's no actual way to get rid of a hangover, just sleep it off and get some fluids in you.

I thought dry toast was a good cure? I didn't think water because doesn't it normally lay on your stomach? Eat a meal with bread/chips before you drink, and if you're drinking beers - drink one beer, then pint of water, beer, water, etc.

Here's an idea- don't drink to the point where you puke your guts out.

I usually take a warm shower and drink a mug coffee whenever I had hangovers. I rarely do get them now, though. I don't see the thrill anymore.
