This is really hard to say to everyone, as I'm the only one who actually knows my weight...
I'm 13+ Stone (holy cow...), and I'm just under 6 ft (5ft 9 - 10 in). I'm also 13 years old.
I'm really big for my age, so I'm guessing I'm supposed to be quite heavy, but to me this is highly overweight for my age.
I don't do alot of activities throughout the day, as not alot of my kids round my area play out, and if they do, it's with there own friends, all of which I hate.
I don't eat alot of fruit, only 5 - 10 grapes rarely. To be honest, I hate the texture. It makes me sick. I don't eat alot during the day, and for dinner, I always eat my vegetables, every last bit of 'em - I love them! =)
I'm soon going to get my dad to get our gym machines out so I can work on toning my body.
Can anybody else here give me some tips to help losing some weight?

I think you know yourself what is needed. Getting involved in a sports club will not only build up your fitness but will also build up your self confidence.
Little things like not eating anything after 7.30pm also helps because then your body is winding down & will store the food as fat during when you sleep.
Try exercising every night, 30 press ups and 30 sit ups does the job for me :>

Umm, just try eating little junk food, but occasionally treat yourself, because it seems that you are eating some healthy food so yeah,..

Apparently your BMI is average due to your height and your weight.
http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm
Check there.
If you feel you need to loose weight, or uncomfortable with your looks, do it safely, eat a healthy 3 day meals a day diet, added with fruits/vegetables you like and enjoy eating, cut out the crap, ie; crisps, chocolate, sweets, ect, and try replacing that with more healthy food. Exercise alot more, that should help a great deal, swimming / bike riding I find works best for me, try it with you?
:)
(I know I said I have left, but I like giving advice out here)

I cant remember how heavy I was when I was your age. But hopefully I can offer some advice.
Firstly DO NOT try crash or fad dieting - it will make things worse. Believe me I've tried.
It sounds like your eating vegtables, which is good. Have you tried fruit smoothies or juices?
There are lots of little things you can do to try and loose wieght, simple things like getting up to change the TV channel. Walking more (helps the enviroment too :D). Even just, when you bend over to pick something up, throw one leg up into the air (yes i know it sounds stupid, but as long as nobody can see its ok :P) and holding it there a little longer than is comfortable. Youll find if you do similar things with other positions then youll soon be building up more muscle.
Always remember that no matter what people say is 'the right weight to be' it might not be the right wieght for you. Loose weight slowly (as this is the best way to keep it off) and find where you feel comfortable. Its about you, not other people.
Give yourself rewards every now and then - maybe a new top ect. If youve kept to your eating healthily, being more active.
If you can find a sport you love then great. Just a tip, I loved and still love playing defence. You get to stand still, but can still run about like a looney :P Then this will help, but sports is not for everyone.
Remember slow and steady wieght loss is the best way to loose wieght and keep it off. Make sure you are doing this for you though, if youre doing it for someone else I can almost guarantee it wont work, or youll be grossly unhappy.
Last of all.
Good Luck =]

I think its great that you have recognised that you have body image issues and are facing up to them, I know its tough saying you do but its the first step to loosing weight.
You should try to eat more fruit even if its just an orange or an apple, steer clear of juices even fresh ones becuase they are loaded with calories. Say youm drink a glass of orange juice every day that could equivalent to 10 oranges thats alot of excess sugar and caloires.
Try to drink water as it fills you up and keeps you hydrated properly.
Try to have some salad or soup before your lunch and dinner as it will reduce how much you eat. Its good that you eat veges try not to eat too many potatoes though as they are high in carbs. Make sure you eat lean meat too. You should cut potion size too maybe try a smaller plate them you will eat less.
As for snacks try low calorie ones and watch the sugar conent of pre-preared ones they could say low fat but be high sugar. Pretzles about 50grms and a little dip, diet jelly, salad, low fat breakfast bar, light flavored milk and yougurt are good snacks.
But really exercise is the key you can eat right but if you dont excercise it wont shift your weight. Go for a walk or run to the shops. Build it up start at 15 minutes a day for a week and build it up.
I know what your going through it can be tough but stick with it.
If you need any help feel free to PM me =)

thats ok for your height. Im 5'1 and I weigh 8.5 stone. by the time I grow to six foot I would consider that a healthy weight to be :) and if you think your unhealthy just eat more fruit and veg less snacky stuff ect. just use common sense.
Metric.

You will not shift the weight by doing press ups/sit ups. You need to do some cardio exercise such as running or swimming then increase the amount you do. Of course what you eat in the kitchen is equally as important. No point doing lots of cardio and then going home eating junk.
