it has came to my increasing concern that our team has great individual players that dont work together well.

I think Beckham might of been the player that made the team work together and play well as, now he has gone we have suddenly went on a bad run of form, I know there has been injuries but I dont think thats much of an excuse and also we have not been creative at all.

We might also need Beckham as since people say we have a Left Mid problem I think now we have a Right Mid one with Lennon being injured often and us not having a proper Right Mid that is England quality So, we might need Beckham back again to fill in that position.

Also, I know recently Beckham has been dropped but we could take him back now as Real have started playing him well and he looks to be on top form, with a goal on his return.

So what do you think,
Do we need Beckham back for England?

Gerrard in centre with hargreaves, joecole on left, beckham on right.

Probably one of the best midfields in the world. (Lampard doesnt have the defensive capabilities to oust gerrard or hargreaves)

Not 100% right obviously but if you think about it some of englands goals when beckham was around was thanks to him,

Eg crosses, corners, free kicks, a few penalties,

But for my view i do say we need him back

i think he should be in the squad.. for when lennon is injured

Lennon isnt even that good yet and his crosses certainly dont compare to David's.

Hes got a great delivery from a set-piece good for players like crouch and john terry, so i think we definatly need him back in the squad at least:D

I think Maclaren is having a laugh, the other night after the game he said, "We do have some top players missing such as Aaron Lennon".

Well he never plays Lennon when he is match fit anyway, so what is the point in even saying that?

I hope he gets fired, he is rubbish and has more knowledge than my left toe, he spent about 40000 billion pounds at Middlesborough and they have never won anything so thast how rubbish he is.

Dont need Beckham if you ask me.

lmao.

Beckham done **** all in one of them world cup games where he just stood there when he got the ball, rw's are meant to RUN at the left back, to put a CROSS in and maybe score the ODD goal, all of those things beckham has done rarely in the past 2 years for england.

I only think Beckham wont ever be played under Mcclaren. (dont know why)

I think Mcclaren needs firing as he is not a top manager and England need one.

Beckham's a scapegoat. The team wouldn't play any better with him, we'd probably play worse through that stupid way the whole team relies on him. If he was playing the whole tactic would be get the ball to Beckham so he can hopefully get a good cross in, which doesn't happen as Beckham can't beat defenders to get to the line to make a good cross. Keep him out.

No defiantly not as we have Aaron Lennon

No defiantly not as we have Aaron Lennon

Do we? Do we ever play him when hes match fit?
No, because England is like 10 years behind every football team, most International teams have 2 fast wingers who are good at taking on players are crossing balls.

Take Man U for instance, they arent an Internatonal team, but with Ronaldo and Giggs on the wings, with good delievery etc they are a fantastic team, obviously with there midfield with Scholes.

We have that ability if we play Gerrard in the middle, drop Carrick because he isnt good internationally. Play Aaron Lennon on the right and Joe Cole on the left (When hes fit because Downing is absoloute garbage) and then play a decent Defensive Midfielder in with Gerrard so they can work together, Scholes would be brilliant if he came out of retirment.
Obviously Hargreaves when hes fit

Then the rest sorts itself out, the defense is good, although I would sooner have Sol Campbell than Rio Ferdinand, Ferdinand will make more mistakes I think and is too high rated.
Ashley Cole on the left because hes the best left back ive ever seen, Neville on the right because he can link up with the winger to push forward.
JT in the middle obviously with Sol Campbell.

Rooney upfront with either Owen, Defoe and Andy Johnson, Crouch is such an obvious player, long ball to knock down, every opponent knows that now. So we need two upfront players that can make the game work for them together.

GoalKeeper is a bit of a shake, Robinson isnt all what hes cracked up to be. I think David James has proved himself yet again for Portsmouth so he should be given another chance as Number 1 England Keeper.

Sack Macclaren, because if he doesnt realise all that stuff, then he is no more technically minded than myself.

hmm i dunno i don't think walcott has done anything special so far this season. every time i watch him for arsenal people expect great things but he hasn't delivered.

Playing Walcott on the right is totally stupid, basically hes a forward, what is the point in player players out of position when you can just find an alternative that is the best player for that position?

Its no good playing a player in the wrong position, its just stupid.

1. Walcott hanst proved his worth yet.
2. Playing him out of position just makes it worse.

Walcott, started out as an attacking right winger.
He has developed to become a striker, and is now better placed upfront but he can still play on the right.

I believe he has not performed greatly because people expect so much from him being labeled "Englands next wonderkid" and not being played at all during the worldcup would have shot his confidence down alot.

I say give him a chance, I have seen him play some killer balls for Arsenal and make great runs at times.

We must remeber that he is only 17.
