Sorry but, how is this:

*REMOVED*

"Too gory" as Garion most kindly put it.

It's meant to be funny, and too be having a laugh - one person actually +repped me for having such an image in my signature.

It's pathetic that this is "too gory" - we're not all 2 year olds; as stated in my PM to Garion in which he replied "people as young as 11 post on this forum" - which is not what I said.

I'm sure, whichever 11 year old posts on this forum isn't going to get nightmares by watching this animation.

For a simpler answer; get them to put me on their ignore list - then they won't have to see my signature.

Edited by Garion (Forum Super Moderator): Please do not post animations which contain gory content on the Forum, thanks :).

Can I suggest that if a Super Moderator says an image is too gory, not to go and post it again on the Forum?

I kinda agree, they show gorier stuff that that in schools, it's obviously fake blood, it's there for a split second, it's a joke, and it's not even a real person. It's a bit tight isn't it?

People have different levels of toleration for different levels of gore. I understand that it isn't that frightening, but some people may think differently; this is however why I contacted you asking you to remove it rather than just removing it via Mod CP.
Members should not have to put you on their ignore list to avoid images they do not feel comfortable with viewing.

yeah they need to loosen up on a few rules like that.. although garion was only doing his job. he enforces the rules; he don't make them.

It's like a nazi camp now...

Are children going to have bad dreams about the Ronald McDonald feeding them bigMac's?

Arrrrgh no!

It's absolutely pathetic.

Maybe you should think about this possibility - who is going to be scared of some tomato ketchup?

As I said above, the fact you don't find the image gory does not mean others won't.

Edit;; this also does not mean me, I don't find it scary at all but that's not the point, as I said above.

Someone has sense.

@Garion: So people find ketchup gory?

Is my signature ok now?

The rule is no gory images, and you posted (regardless of your feelings as to if it's scary, or how gory it is) one of those in your signature - and again in the thread. The rule is as it is until ---MAD--- or 8Freak8 changes it, and therefore you need to stick to it :(

Who decides whether it is gory or not?

gor·y
1. covered or stained with gore; bloody.
2. resembling gore.
3. involving much bloodshed and violence: a gory battle.
4. unpleasant or disagreeable: to reveal the gory details of a divorce.

Yours was at the very least 1 & 3, as well as possibly 4.

Tbh, it wasn't really that gorey, and you didn't really see much. And, to me, it actually seemed like tomato ketchup, because think about it, there are fast food resturaunts, so it kind of seems funny to use ketchup.

Take a look at Garion's signature;

I find Garion's signature the following:-
Very rude as the original image is from a picture entitled 'ceiling cat is watching you **********'. Ceiling cat is obviously still watching you ********** as he is doing in your signature animation.
Gory, because green stuff come out of ceiling cat's eyes and thus makes it scary to me and I might have bad dreams about green stuff coming out of felines' eyes.
Scary, as ceiling cat blows up the world and now you have made me paranoid about the world ending and I will end up shivering in the corner of the box room.

3. Do not post gory or vulgar images - This includes lots of blood, real of pixel art and pictures of a sexual nature.

As above, gory basically means with a lot of blood. The green out of Ceiling Cat's eyes is not blood. Nowhere is there a rule against 'scary' images - it was merely justification of the rule.

Gory defines as the un-bold one's you quoted aswell being:-

unpleasant or disagreeable: to reveal the gory details of a divorce.which it is.

and what's the difference, gory is scary...

You see; now it's a super moderator on the receiving end of the same punishment dished out to your average, everyday member - different rules apply.

Yes... So you're telling me gory means disagreeable. Garion's signature, which you appear to have an issue with, is not gory - as there is no blood.

If you say it's disagreeable, that doesn't by definition make it gory - and therefore it breaks no rules.

If you would like further action taken against me for my signature which you found unpleasant, then I suggest you contact either nvspk4 or my Managers; ---MAD---, Dan, Wayne.

I don't; as you have removed the unpleasant [in my view] animation.

Even if I was to contact either of those; the rules would sway in your favour obviously.

Now, I shall close this thread - the problem was initially sorted and the problem that erupted later on in the thread has been sorted aswell.

I thank you all for you co-operation.
