a forum in the Teen members bit for girls and bit for boys?

just called GIRLS and BOYS?

where only girls can go in the girl section and vice versa, with the sexuality in the profile?

i dunno it might be a good idea?

boys could like post youtube videos and say what celebrites they like or male problems

and girls can discuss tupperware and boys and make up and ****.:rolleyes:

Anyway, it is a good idea, but you'd have to use some form of passwording the forums so, boys have their pass, and girls have theirs, but then you have the problem of them sharing the password/accounts, and then entering each other forums, which pretty much ruins the object of the forum. And, i don't think they would be any other way to go about doing it.

user groups, public group things, it doesnt have to be protected does it? just open

People my make different accounts, pretending they are female when they are male, or pretending they are male when they are female ect.

Its a good idea, and I dont see the point of other genders trying to view the forum etc lol, but the public user group thingy like the pixel artist thing might help a bit? I understand the concept of it and would like to see it happen tbh

It's been suggested before, it wouldn't work as members would just change their profile so they can see the different forum.

I suggested this last year in the staff forums.
It wouldnt work, Like Nick said, and many said in my thread, it wouldnt work, people would just change their gender via their profile..

It's a bit weird but im not fully staff yet so i cant post in staff forums but well here it goes. My suggestion is that you have a forum for girls to chat in and a forum for boys to chat in ?

In girls there could be like :
School
Fashion / Clothes
Discuss Anything.
Teen Life.
Growing up
And other junk.

And like for boys :
School
Sport
Fashion/ Clothes
Relationships
Growing up.
and alsorts.

Just an idea.

And like well its just for that gender ?
Cos some girls dont like posting stuff like say to do with growing up. In the teen life forums. And some boys dont posting like that they've cheated on someone or something. You get me ? But anyway tell me what you think. It was only an idea.

It sounds good but in retrospect it would never work, you can't just say, "you cannot post in this forum because you are a boy" as that is discrimination."

there's a plugin which if you click "male" or "female" in edit profile your put into that usergroup, which then you would only see that forum. [:

i think its a good idea, and keeping them open would be good to, coz if girls wanna find something out, but dont want to ask, they can just like throught he forums to see if its been mentiond and vice versa for boys

That makes no difference to your sex? If you are gay it doesn't mean that you're not a male/female, lol.

It wouldn't just be a Forum for each sex because boys would end up replying in the girls forum and girls would end up replying in the boys forum. If we aren't restricting them (i.e. to who can post where e.t.c.) then the only other way of getting around it is having Moderators look after it. But you can't really warn or infract someone for posting in the other sexes Forum + it'd be too much work on top of what they have already to check that a boy didn't make a post in the girls forum or vice versa..

The end result would probably be 3 spam Forums? I can't really see it working without restrictions :p Even if there were restrictions there'd be problems in terms of boys changing profiles to female and vice versa.

Not really sure there is a point, I don't think many people hold back from posting their problems in the Teen Life Forum regardless of their sex... Afterall this is the internet so you're anonymous anyway.

It'd be confused if you was tranfestite or if you was one of those people who are born with both parts... Or if you was a boy and it fell off... What would you be then?
