Ok, i've like.. recently moved schools and I was never taught how to find the circumference of a circle at my old school, and in my new school everyone knows every thing about it.

Could someone explain, how to find it? ;]
thankss +rep for helping.

mmhmm.

circumference of a circle = 2(pi)r or (pi)d
which means

2 * (pi) * radius
or
(pi) * diameter

is that what you want?

I don't really understand that.. ;[

+rep anyway

http://www.math.rutgers.edu/%7Ezeilberg/PG/Radius.gif

"R" in the picture represents the radius. It is the distance from the center of the circle to a point on the circle.

Diameter is the distance from one end of the circle to the other end while still passing through the center of the circle. Because of this, diameter is twice the measure of the radius.

Circumference is the distance around the circle, represented by the "C" in the picture. It can be calculated either using the radius or the diameter using the formulas I posted previously.

and if the (pi) is confusing you (i dunno), I meant the mathematical constant π or 3.14159...

If you didn't understand that, this should help:

Pi (http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/img/pie.gif) should be found on your scientific calculator.

Go on google and search it, there are some really helpful websites :)

I think its something like - Pi x Radius?
