Sorry, doesnt do it for me. I cant say I like anything unfortunately -.-

Improvements: ditch the shelves. its a nice idea but they just dont work
Change the wallpaper and floor colour to darker. It gives more colour to the room and makes it seem less... white -.-
Change the tealights for candles, the tea lights make it look empty
Remove the stickie, its on its own in a strange place and doesnt fit in.
Put some posters up, the walls look bare
Remove the dog
Have a row of z shelves above the trophy to give it a "boxed" effect

Sorry to sound so harsh, but thats what I think. If I didnt say it, you wouldnt know ;)

I know the room is based of z shelves but it makes it look ... wrong..

It makes the room look a bit bland though. Maybe if he used some other colours elsewhere?
