I'm stuck on this question:

Calculate the value of y for which 2log3(y) - log3(y+4) = 2

The part i'm confused about is the log3(y+4). Is it possible to split it into two? If it was log3(4y), i'd know how to do the question, but i don't know what to do with log3(y+4).

Anyway, +rep for help.
