Last December we have collected all the money that has been spent by our forum members on VIP and related features. This summed up to a staggering £360.54!!
Afterwards we had a poll (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=280242) to let you decide to which charitable cause the money raised should go, and you choose for something related to cancer.
We have looked at different organisations that do charity work related to cancer. We tried to find an international one, but it turned out hard to find one that also accepts online donations, so in the end we selected Cancer Research UK (http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/). Last weekend we have made an online donation by creditcard for the full amount of £360.54, and we will ask for a written acknowledgement, so that we can scan it and show it online.
We want to thank everybody who has contributed by buying VIP or reputation last December :)
