not saying it should be free but I would prefer to use a free IPB board :) Just as effevctive without the massive price tag. Also most people make scripts like those for phpbb's and IPB's for FREE! So Its not that hard "/

I like IPB more then vB.
IPB has just as many features as vB including the admin control panel.

Yes :) Its just the same as an Ipb just broekn down into more section "/ and not as easy to mod :)

erm most versions yes. They have released a new ones which pwns Vb but you do have to pay for it but they come free with most cpanels :)

also there are so many habbo VB forums with just like 5 users.. People just think because its a vb people automatically join.. I would start off with a phpbb or Invision and once you get lots of users think of transfering to Vb

been better avlue paying $180 for IPB lifetime licence. u get every update after buying it free, and acn litraly use the whole thing for your lifesapn. Plus ipb 2.0 has fetures that makes vb look limited.

ipb 1.2 can be found on most cpanles, in there script arachive. and in old version of fransico u can get 1,3, but thats now been removed :/

yo, start with a free forum i say, if you get more than 500 listeners then think about transfering!
Dont bother if your not gonna get many listeners with lots of posters, waste a cash, waste of time and you can just use another forum etc.
You could also be vip on this forum and get a big on the VIP boards, they pay, they moderate etc! They get the cash to pay the server KAPEESH :P

Btw if i were you seriously, dont even think about vbulletin if you have no host or know anything about forum
In the end its your decision, i just giving you advise :D

Big sites always use Ipb or phpbb. has anyoen noticed how there are No big forums at all that use vb. it looks so dull, and not worth the cash, ipb 2.0 is.

its kinda backfired they thought they made it look dull and people would all fork out for skins worth $30 and then realiesed people just used nicer looking forums or ones with free skins..
