Noob = Newbie? <-- No it doesn't!

There's so many people who go around who seem to not know what these two words mean.

Newb = A person who is new at the game and is an inexpierenced user who doesn't what to do (Basically a newbie)

Noob = Something that is inexpierenced and acts as a newbie in some forms. Also a person who is very stupid at something and just can not use it ie. Been on habbo for 3 years and still doesn't know who to lock a door. Finally, talks like, "im a upa mun,". NOT A NEW PERSON TO A THING!

Sorry to rain on your parade, but you're a newb/noob/n00b in "leet" terms :rolleyes:

Noob is the leet term for newb, which is the short typed term for newbie. I don't actually think I need to explain why you're wrong, you just typed it out yourself.

Also, you're pretty nooby if you you actually think a noob speaks strangely by saying stuff like "im a upa mun." That is just called an idiot who cannot type fully "/ Not a noob, Mr. Leet Noob.

So sorry, but this thread is pointless. The maker doesn't have a clue what he is on about "/

Also, look at how it is spelt and pronounced. Noob and Newb. They are pronounced the same, with new. Which means new to a game or a particular feature/event. Much like you, with leet terms "/

Thanks for that explanation, you actually told us the real meaning of it +rep

What more can i say other than the post above is entirely correct and everyone else is wrong.

Edit: I need to spread rep -crycry

Don't worry about rep, I don't find it that amazing :)

I think Jabba has been called a noob/newb/n00b recently, and just wants to re-write the meaning so he doesn't make himself seem noobish. He just failed, miserably.
