Nah, its nothing chemical or anything, its really just certain people. It's like any group of people. You can even see it in school, different groups of people talk differently than others, not because its just how they are-- they're CHOOSING to talk like that. This is litterally (no offence to anyone) a gay trend. Most gay people choose not to really be different at all other than their sexuality, but some actually want to act like women. Thus the accent comes up. Its actually their (usually bad) attempt to mimick the way stylish women talk.

He's openly bisexual. He married a Portugese lesbian in a marriage of convenience, and his long term lover and business partner Brendan Murphy of 20 years died of Cancer in 2005.
So you're all right in a way.
ROFL Paul just finds a girl and has her :l

Simon Amstell perfect example here, how many people would actually think he's gay? None unless you knew, becuase he doesn't play up to the sterotype.

I know, I only just found out myself and with someone :o
Amstell was also very open about his homosexuality (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality) on the show. During an interview with Blu Cantrell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu_Cantrell) he informed her she looked quite "hard". She laughed and told him it was a line he should use on more girls, to which Amstell raised his eyebrows and murmured; "That won't be necessary."
From Wiki
The point is, some people just do follow the sterotype, or are just camp and they pick up the accent. Other such as Simon Amstell, just don't.

Yep... I didn't know until I read an article about him and Miquita leaving Popworld and how he would be taking over Never Mind The Buzz****s. The article was headlined something like "How did a gay Jew and a teenage girl change the face of music television?" :P
I think where your voice is concerned it's really just characteristics and how you have developed and grown.
You can be the gayest man alive and still have a deep voice and be a very butch character... and in the same way, you can be the straightest man alive and still have a high voice and be very feminine.

Yeah. Actually you can help it, it's your choice how to speak. And I dont mean "want to be women" as in have women parts, I mean be feminine. Like wear flamboyant clothes, care about their hair, and in general be like girls.
I think you need to learn the definition of stereotypical. To be stereotypical means to be just like everyone else in a group. I wasen't being stereotypical, I think you mean "judgemental", which I wasent that either. I didnt say all gays were like that, in fact I remember saying:
Most gays arent like that
Most gays do not talk in that accent (because they choose not to) and become feminine, they simply choose a different lifestyle but remain the same personality wise.

Haha, if i was born with a high voice then i apologise for that?
The fact is, if i tried to speak in a deep voice for a day i'd probably have a sore throat the next day, because its not my natural voice. If you have a deep voice, do you choose to have it like that? Or does it come naturally.
I don't wear flaboyant clothes, but so what if a gay man does? Is it also wrong for a straight man to wear flaboyant clothes, does that make them "want to be a women"? And so what if people care about their hair, that really made me laugh, it's called taking pride in your appearance - and if thats a crime, what isn't?
I think to say that some gay men 'want to be girls' is wrong. Maybe you just have an askew view of people being able to have different personalities and that not every man has to have a deep voice, like football and not be interested in how they style their hair.. haha. It's not about following the stereotype, its about being yourself.

There is a difference between having a high voice and talking gay. And having a high voice has nothing to do with homosexuality. I didnt say that ALL gay men want to be women, youre twisting my words. I dont mean "want to be women" as in actually have women parts, I mean act like women. Im not telling you that you cant be yourself, for god sakes stop twisting around what I say.
Having a high pitched voice has NOTHING to do with being gay. They arent connected. However SOME gay people choose to talk feminine.

No one said you wanted to be a woman, they said you wanted to be feminine. There vary different things. Before making more stupid comments it may be an idea to look up the difference in meaning between a persons gender and a persons sex. Feminine refers to the gender as opposed to the sex.

because the prostate gland is needed? most of the seminal fluid is produced by it.
