Shut up stop moaning, make us a forum for Flight Simulator and VATSIM and we will stop posting threads in forums which you don't want them..

Jesus, calm down!

There is actually a few of us here that fly on VATSIM, it's one hell of a cool network! - It the next best thing to sitting in a full motion 767-300 simulator!

So how many people actually want a career as a pilot?

I assume you mean real life, with you mentioning PPL at the end? :S

I thought you was like 15? lol..

Either way, I have done 78.9 hours in a real life Piper Warrior, more than enough for a PPL.

Just have to wait till October for the solo's and then a year after I can have my PPL..

As my instructor said "If you was 17, i'd give you your CPL never mind PPL" lol :)

Explain to me how a collage can offer a course for VATSIM? - You wouldn't even use VATSIM in a flight training school..

Plus, I gather your too young to train for real life ATC...........

In real life.

Not on VATSIM. 18th birthday is June 26.

It might be different for european side but your allowed to start training at 17 for USA.

Like in USA at 15 you start drivers and and at 16 you get your license.

Read your post wrong, didn't realise it was at collage! - Sorry.

I thought you ment an actual FAA/CAA course, lol.

Good luck, but I certainly wouldn't use VATSIM for training.

Dentafrice1

I would probably use vatsim for low level training.. then move up to something different.

Adam!
21-02-2007, 02:12 AM
LOW LOW Level..

Although simulating real life, it's good for phrasology etc, but not for the actual systems.. Real ATC systems are a hell of alot more advanced and complicated.

Plus, then you have to realise your controling REAL planes, and it does matter if you accidently tell a plane to turn left heading 120 into the path of the British Airways 747 with TCAS that isn't working, and they go KABOOM.
