Its Kristall-Panel time.

Anyway, other the amount of time of 10 minutes, me and Dan are making a payed and a free one.

The paid one will be £8 per copy, and you get this:

Guaranteed to have no glitches errors or bugs
Free addons created by the community
Downloadable skins
48 hour response with guaranteed fix to an error.

You can buy a resell copy, which you can sell at any price, for £25!

The free one will have:

No downloadable skins
Very few addons
1 Week response time

Thanks

Ryan,
Kristall-Panel Director

Free addons created by the community

By the community do you mean the community of Kristall Panel by this I mean the people who use it, or the staff of the panel, because if you mean the people who use it, how can you say people have to pay you to get addons from diffrent people who don't get payed? And its not really free as you have to buy the pro copy.

The community = Staff + users

The free downloads will be able to download addons created by the users and some staff, but the paid downloads will be able to download the full range of addons, mainly created by the staff to have 99% compatibility with Kristall-Panel

Ok, thanks.

Also this looks like the first panel whats actual going some where the rest what get past there first version hardly ever update, or have crappy support, but you guys are doing loads of skins and add ons with what will be a great community.

If any of you have, the skin in RC2 is the default skin for the next releases

That's a little disappointing Dan... I thought the whole point of the project was to create the best damn open-source radio panel script out there. :(

Ah well, it is only a matter of time when any good thing becomes a sell out. I'm sure the free version will be fine but one problem with the paid version... you need loads of people to buy the script to create add-ons, or you'll hardly have any?

Whats the point in making a dj panel.
1. We have a bjillion ones on the forum
2. Yours costs but you can get many free
3. There wont be many addons as it wont be very popular imo
4. Your a good coder so why not make something worthwhile?

Yeah... help the community - you won't make much of a profit. Most of the people that require DJ Panels still use Piczo for heaven's sake... come on ;)

It's not pointless paying for one, if it's a decent panel.

Only large sites, which are confident that they can put a panel to good use will have any reason to buy it, not the people that make posts on Habbox Forum asking where they can find panels.

The only reason we are charging is for £200 for Dan to go to Australia (He has B'day money to add on..)

Maybe, but it still doesnt mean its going to be widely used.

That's very sweet, but a little inapporpiate - it would have been nicer to hear that the money will be spent on improvements rather then just personal use.

And if you don't make any profit, aren't you just being used?

I dont mind tbh, I never make things for profit (Like Project Washing Machine) I just waste money on them, unless its for someone else.
