Right, there has always been problems with the current Method of getting VIP via sms, right?

Well, www.MeadowForum.com have it, and their vip via sms is different.

You send off a word to a number.
Recieve a code.
Type the code in on the page
Admin gets message or w.e and sets it up

I think it would work better imo.

We will see about that. We need to see what the current company is going to do to fix the problem before thinking about moving etc :).

Thanks

Ok, thanks for the reply.

Also this one lets you buy different amounts of VIP, on MeadowForum you can buy 1, 3 or 6 months via sms.

Why? Joshuar doesn't really deal with anything to do with VIP, at least not on the UK Forum anyway - It's mainly an issue for VIP/Forum Management + sierk/8F8

Yeah i agree :D

I agree with ---MAD--- that we should first see what our company we're already with is going to do for us and then look at changing the provider or just the service if it's part of the same company and works better.

Yeah, and with the method that Ben suggested you can choose any color when you type in your code.

That might be a good idea, but I don't know if we would still have the same problems as we have now, where the system just doesn't work correctly.
Does anybody know any other company than greenlight.co.uk that offers this service?

No matter which method you use - there's always going to problems.

Yeah but it would be nice to deal with a company that actually answers emails, unlike greenlight.co.uk .

Thanks for that Colin.

We have problems with GreenLight, such as sometimes we receive duplicate texts and other times we don't receive the messages at all.

I'll discuss these other SMS providors with Sierk.

I looked into those other SMS providors and neither do what we want.
