was discussing this with someone yesterday so i decided to post it on here!!
how big would you need to be to consider yourself fat?
like up to what size would you be comfortable with your size?

i'm kinda obsessive over this sorta thing, and if i got to a size 12 would feel really fat.
& seeing other size 12s, like my mum, i consider them quite fat too.
my friend though said she'd only consider someone/herself fat at size 16+.

so yer :)

like size 14 >
depends really if you see a 50 year old woman and shes size 14 she doesnt seem fat but if you see a 16 year old girl and shes size 14 it seems quite big.

I'm 5'7" and weigh like 8 stone... I think that puts me about 2 stone underweight, but I just look thin rather than unhealthy. For me, it's not so much how big/heavy someone is that makes them fat, but how they suit it. I have a friend who's 16 stone and only looks a little fat because of his build, whereas if I weighed that much I'd look massive.

yeah i think ideal for 5 foot 7 in females is 10 stone, and in males its probs a bit more.

Depends on how you look at people if its like wieght you see or muscle or fat.
Guess it depends on you upbringing and how your family shapes you body image. Plus kinda how people dress. I dont care if someones fat I care if they dress indecently. Seriously I hate seeing girls mainly with tight clothes on and they are all fat. I have a friend whos largeish but she dresses nice and stuff so I dont mind. Guess its all about body image

Everyone has there own views and opinions on what the word fat or obese means. Some people become obsessive over there figure and go to the extremes. I was watching a programme last night on TV. People who consider themselves "fat" can go to extreme measures to get the figure they want. Personally 16 and above it getting above average. It all depends on your height, and age this will change what is a healthy weight :D And with all the pressure in the media its not setting a good example for teens, and other younger viewers. You only have to get someone who likes victoria beckham and then they will use her and other skinny figures as role models.
