How do i fish on animal crossing

ok i taught some1 this the other day.. except in the game ok

1)Look for a shadow of a fish in the sea(at the bottom of the map) or the river.
2) Put ur rod near 2 that fish
3) wait for the fish to start swimming after it
4)When the lil bait thing goes into the water when the fish is touching it and u hear a "bop" noise then click the screen or press A and u will of hopefully caught the fish if ur fast enof

no just run up and down the river til u find a shadow of it, u'll no it wen u see it ;D
