Well I was looking at the Habbo Debate events page and normally the best poem, film review or album review wins a prize. But now it just says 'Will be advertised on the homepage for a week!'
I wonder why this is and here is the link for the Habbo Debate home.

I think the reason we keep noticing prize's are getting lamer is...

Well Callie's prizes where just as good as you could get, she gave supers and unreleased rares away so easily. My friend got a blue bird bath for noticing a spelling error in her newsie. She gave like purple dragons away in quests.

Lost_witness usually gives about 3 thrones worth away in quests, which is tight. And now this, lost_witness is the one who's fault it is entirely he's just useless and mean and tight with prizes.

But yeah... if there is no furni prize, number of entrants will probably drop quite a bit (wahey, less entries to read). ;)

Wth?

Anyway, I think that we Habbo UK players are quite lucky. If you see SG, their prizes are like 2 rollers, etc.

Yeah lol I agree and lol at the last bit. I bet that's all they are bothered about, less entries to read. And to the 'Not everything needs prizes' comment. Why hold a little competition for the best poem or whatever and only have it published on the homepage, big wow. If they want people to enter they should have prizes.

But SG works differently, when you win a competition you get a prize often a rare or some seasonals but you also get points. These points go on the 'Habbo of the Month' leaderboard. First and second place get gold and silver badges for a month, i think a substantial amount of credits and a HC membership. Everyone who gets three points or more gets a permanent bronze badge. Which, IMHO, is a lot better and makes things a lot more fair. SG is a smaller community and unlike in the UK Hotel where there is the very rich, the rich and the poor there is the very rich or the ones with few rares.

The way I think of it is, it's just pixels why be so tight with them.

They're supposed to give us enjoyment and make is happy by running competitions and things like that. If they don't keep the customers happy then the customers aren't going to spend money are they.
I guess this is another competition thing lost.

I think the Habbo Golden age ended long ago when Callie left, but Habbos were just too ignorant to admit it.
