In Year 7 my maths teacher said "Oh the maths challenge is really good, you sit in a room all afternoon and play maths games"

LOL it's a boring test you go and do, and you get marks deducted for getting 'em wrong. Stupid maths teacher for lieing, I'm never doing that again, tbh I'm boycotting it lol.

Junior
Intermediate
Senior

I did intermediate and got 72 :( 6 marks off gold.

Im only in yr 9 though and ur supposed to take it in 10 or 11 :D

Well in year 7 we never done it,
In year 8 i was on holiday.
In year 9 i got the grey kangaroo. Went through to a higher paper etc.
This year i did better :] So i have to go through to a higher paper.

last year in year 7, i got bronze in the junior version. and also this year ive been picked as 1 of the 4 people in my whole school to represent it at the maths challenge team competition LOL, i dont even like math.....:D

I took the AMC math comp which is the american version.

Somehow I got the best in my high school (everyone else did really bad)

I have no idea the similarity between the ukmt and amc

Ooer, just found out that next thursday im doing the pink kangaroo maths challenge test now. :[ Wish me luck anyway, if i do well in this apparently i go to some olympiad thing

Just did the pink kangaroo test today (Extension from maths test if you do well) It was pretty easy 1-13, then got to like question 21-22 and i ran out of time. Got to wait like 2 weeks now for results :p

Year 9 and did even get a Bronze, It doesnt effect my grade so i marked the answer for all questions A and just sat back for the rest of the hour.
