If you filtered the word yourself you shouldn’t have received an infraction, because when I was working for Habbox I once got in trouble for banning Drooped for sending me a really offensive PM with loads of filtered swearing in. You’re allowed to filter out your own swearing as long as you’re not like using swear words to offend people. Report it in the infractions thread.

This was over 3-5 months ago now so the rules could have changed =]

It's been made out that you said something like "****", four stars or something similar. However you only partially filtered what was said, and therefore it was clear what you were implying; therefore you avoided the Forum filter.

I couldn't be certain but I think you were here when Sierk made the last direction on swearing. (See below) It is quite specific and covers all the points, I believe. In any event LuckyRare only received a warning and I feel that he has blown the whole situation out of proportion and taken it all too personally, really. You're making up petty excuses now for warnings you know are fair. Catzsy doesn't need a few extra warnings to assure she keeps her job, considering her quality of Moderating is very high. Besides there is no set limit for the amount of warnings/infractions/moderator logs a (Super) Moderator has to have before they are fired.

from looking at the post i think everyone here can see what was intended and how 2 stars do not make a difference if you did intend on posting it without breaking the rules, you would not have just starred out 2 of the letters but the whole word out, this is fair in my opinion. Threatening to take legal action over some pixels that are ilegidly yours is childish just because you received an infraction and you yourself resigned, you were not fired. Rules are rules using 2 * to say a profanity without it being filtered is avoiding the filter deal with it.

My view is that moderators are not 'trigger happy' moderating is our job so we browse the forums while looking for posts/threads that break the rules and take appropriate action. If we all sat back and did nothing the forum would be in a state of chaos.

About the warning itself, it clearly states in the rules if you do that you will recieve punishment. If you don't read the rules often enough or don't read them at all and keep familiar with them its your own fault.

Also if you don't like the forum rules HabboxForum imposes on users, you know where the log out button is.

After all no-one is forcing your hand to type habboxforum.com into your browser or click a bookmark now are they? ;).

I wouldn't say log out, I would suggest to learn from your mistakes instead. Infractions expire in 2 months anyway so its not the end of the world :).

We don't get fired if we don't give out a lot of infraction, it's about mod logs and how helpful you are, if there are no bad posts in your forum you have to report posts in other forums and report people with large avatars and signature to smods and at least show that you're trying to do your job well.

If you quit your job because of this then I think you didn't really like your job in the first place and I think you're a quiter (not that you should care what I think).
