Before reading, you should note this is for the Australian Hotel. If you have no commitment to it, I suggest you not bother. I personally will not be dealing with the applications, but can answer any questions you may or may not have.
Our Website Manager of over a year, gotty, is, unfortunately & most upsettingly, stepping down from his role. We need someone with the confidence of filling his massive shoes.

First and foremost, you'll need to be a people person. Meeting & greeting new people will be your favourite thing about Habbo Hotel. You will not be prejudice and will uphold equal respect for everyone - who ever they may be.
Secondly, you'll have outstanding creativity and a lot of innovative ideas to bring to Tropical Habbo. This will help you manage an exclusively community-spirited website.
You'll also have a fair amount of time on your hands to keep content fresh and updated every day to retain a steady hit count and high visitor returns.
The website manager is responsible for:
- Managing staff by assigning duties to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and professionally;
- Coordinating all content including producing, publishing & editing; - Representing Tropical Habbo at Official Fan Site Meetings and on the Official Fan Site forums;
- Compiling the weekly newsletter;
- Following up all corresponence received via email;
- Working independently without supervision and with limited contact with the founder/webmaster;
- Maintaining an overall positive environment.

This position is an incredibly demanding role so coping with some stress will benefit you and being able to manage your time in order to meet expectations is definitely something you'll need to learn if you're not already used to a fast-paced atmosphere.

Lastly, there are, of course, some technical requirements for the Website Manager position:
- Simply stunning English skills;
- Your own computer or unrestricted access to one;
- A decent internet connection;
- Extensive knowledge of xHTML 1.1 Strict;
- Basic understanding of CSS;
- Some experience with other scripts such as PHP highly regarded.
Tropical Habbo is one of the most recognised Habbo Hotel fan sites in the world. We opened in July of 2005 and became an "official fan site" only a couple of months later.
