I wouldnt say no put it that way! I think in english football he would get kicked to bits and become a bit of a tevez and not play as often as someone of his ability should. One word of advice especially about football transfers - dont believe everything you read!

Bournemouth 5-0 Leyton Orient
Darren Anderton's first hat-trick in 542 league games led the Cherries to a five-goal romp over Leyton Orient.
Or this one...
Bournemouth 5 - 0 Leyton Orient
Saturday Feb 10 2007 03:00
Darren Anderton's first-ever hat-trick helped Bournemouth destroy League One relegation rivals Leyton Orient.
The former England midfielder has never scored a treble in 17 years at the very top of the game, but his goals proved all the more important as Bournemouth climbed out of the bottom four following the win.
On-loan Portsmouth midfielder Marc Wilson gave the Cherries a dream start when he coolly finished inside the penalty area on ten minutes by virtually passing the ball beyond Orient keeper Glyn Garner.
Anderton maintained the impressive opening with his first of the game six minutes later courtesy of an equally spectacular goal.
The veteran midfielder spun on the corner of the penalty area and bent an unstoppable shot into the far corner to give Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond a dream start.
A flood of chances then fell for both teams as Jack Cork went close for Bournemouth only to be denied by Garner and livewire Orient striker Jabo Ibehre was denied at the other end by Neil Moss.
All that proved irrelevant though as the well-aged feet of Anderton put the game beyond reasonable doubt when he latched on to a loose ball after James Hayter had been denied.
Minutes later, Anderton grabbed his third by stabbing home at the far post to end a 542-game wait for his first ever hat-trick.
The rout was completed when Hayter latched on to a long ball and ran free from a paper-thin Orient defence to slot past Garner.
With five on the scoreboard for the first time since they humbled Doncaster two years ago, Bournemouth could have carried on and made Orient suffer even more, but both Shaun Cooper and Hayter saw efforts drift just wide
The former England player scored in the 16th minute, curling in a pass from Warren Cummings from 20 yards.
He added a second after the break from a similar distance and completed his hat-trick by blasting home Steve Fletcher's knock-down from close range.
Marc Wilson had opened the scoring on 10 minutes and James Hayter completed the rout in the 68th minute.

Um... Two words One point.. As i have said many a time before we are not out by a long shot yet.. one point before out of relegation. Plus on statistics 5 wins from last 9 isnt bad reading either. Another little fact to put in your little mixer... Bournemouth are one of THE BEST performers at the last quater of seasons... many a time have we been lower/mid table and come back with about 1 quater of the season left to be a bout a point of play-offs.. And btw i dont think you of all people should talk about league 2 football like it is some kind of sin i remember a post which syas u supported Orient since last season.. oh what a coincidence you went up *coughs* GLORY HUNTER

he's a good player - but certainly not worth £20million nor the hype surrounding him. liverpool would be better investing around £10million on a decent english striker (jermain defoe, darren bent etc)

AND YOU ALL MOCKED ME!
Samuel Eto'o has revealed his admiration for Liverpool
The Cameroonian is one of the most highly regarded strikers in world football, but his future at Barcelona has been shrouded in doubt for much of the season.
He had public fall out with Barca coach Frank Rijkaard and it was claimed in March that Eto'o had been offered to clubs in the Premiership.
This was swiftly denied by Eto'o's advisors, but the forward has added fuel to the fire by admitting he is a fan of Liverpool.
"I like Liverpool's courage," he is quoted as saying in Four Four Two Magazine. "They have a big red heart. They showed that against us. We did not underestimate them.
"You have to recognise that in the two games, Liverpool played extremely well. They defend well and are organised.
"I like Gerrard. He runs a lot. He does everything well.
"Gerrard is the best English player. No, change that, at the moment he is the best player in England."
