Was in Science today, discussing the planets and the universe, then somone raised their hand to ask a question; "If the universe is keep expanding, then what is it expanding in-to?" This made me think alot, I mean - their must be an end somewhere? Its very strange.. If you know the answer then share it with me please lol :P

The universe isnt expanding. just the more stuff keeps appearing
Evrything out side of earth is part of the universe even the space that may not be being used

Isn't that question on the advert about becoming a teacher?
The universe isn't expanding, just more stuff is moving further away.

At the end of it, there is an door with exit on it, and when you walk out, you end up in a theme park.
But anyway, i don't really know the answer to the question, i guess you can't really answer it, unless they've proved it? I don't really know.

Yeh it's really interesting. I was discussing this today actually, hehe.
Just to think there must be some sort of end to the universe at some point... It's hard to contimplate something going on forever...
that makes my brain hurt.

But the point I'm trying to get across is; their must, must! Be an end surely.. When you think about it, going "forever" is just like... Strange, it doesnt sound correct.. ??:S??

Well its not expanding in to anything at all, its expanding in to nothing, absolute nothing. Plus for all intencive purposes the universe is infinite. Its expanding at the speed of light, the fastest speed its possible to travel. Hence meaning, we, regardless of starting point or speed could never get any nearer to the edge, or reach it.

maybe in the end it expands so much that some countries like england, germany, spain etc will get kicked off the earth cause there aint enough room and then end up in little bits all over the universe :ooooo
or maybe not..

The universe is curved. While people think it's expanding it isn't actually. The universe is moving round the curve.
Or so i've been led to believe...

but then it gets more complicated if its round, as the universe must be in somthing else lol..

I don't know if the universe itself is round, I think that might be a confused understanding of the fact that space is curved.

Word on the street is that the universe never ends.
