Yeah you should add alot more to the bot, but that would take a day or 2 to do a good database of answers and not many people want to type in Q&A all day.

Use ALICE bots, they have a good basic responcibe library AIML file with em, plus the algrothums are better imo, also its the only one i know which can learn from user inputs "/

Ah, well the Program E is probably you best bet, its a php implimentation. http://sourceforge.net/projects/programe/

From memory the download includes a simple shout box style example code, although youlll probs need to do a little bit of editing to make it fit with your own :)

also alicebot comes installed with tufat's flashchat script. www.tufat.com
