Anyone agree? -hides from thousands of stampeding forumites rushing to say yes-
Well, just post your opinions xD
It is great. The way that u only get 1 licence point per kill til like playing it for 30+ hours is annoying tho.
I have been playing for 30+ hours. And some places monsters give 2 LP. xD
The ADB system. Is. Pwnage.
The gambits can be annoying, they aren't specific enough like 'Use Cura (Area Heal Move) when your party is in the right range.' The way the Quickening is they should use that for party members somehow.
It looks good. Ive never played any final fantasy games before, is it easy to get into?

Is it as any good as Final Fantasy vii or x?
Coz if it is I want it. I don't like the looks of any of the summons tho. Shivas been replaced by a fish. :-[

RPG, both, kinda.
FF7 best, not had money to buy 12 atm.
Every says FF7 is the best, I'm sure of it.... I'd much rather complete 9 again than 7.
Anyway I need to get FF12, every one is amazing.

Yeah they're all good, my fav is probably 9 though.
I agree about 12 being awesome too xD Although I'm not too far yet, I like what I've seen so far. (Currently at Lhusu Mines)
I love the freedom and personal configuration of the licence grid, much better than a set course of abilities and weapon type specifics of previous games.

My bros bought it.
I haven't played yet. The battle system looks more complicated, the music is better (but not perfect)
Better than what music? All of the games have had some amazing music and some crappy music.

Buy FF9, it's the most fun to play and probably the easiest with the ability system, if not FF7, or possibly FFX. FFX is also amazing, good graphics too.

FFX was wrecked by the Sphere Grid and the absence of levelling. I can't find words to describe its awesomeness besides beautiful.
The battle system in FF12 is easy after the starting tutorial. xD
The licence grid is good and the story so far for me is great. I'm at the Phon Coast.
U hafta spend ages levelling and getting Gil from Loot. Loot is another great addition. And the gambit system. It lets you create a list for ur other chars to go by. and u don't hafta choose a command for everyone when u can only move with 1 person.
I thought the Sphere Grid was sort of good but bad. It was easier to pick what skills you wanted, but also you can give someone who uses a rod to attack the strength to hit 99,999. It's pretty stupid.

Yeah, but the way Kimahri was like no special path, I could never decide what to do...
It was okay i suppose, but i think they should have done like FF12 and put in levels which determine main stats and sphere grid to determine secondary stats. And skills.
But in FFX, u could like make like e.g. Tidus be a black mage and Yuna a special user and like Lulu be a pure strength character.
It was wierd. At least in FFXII they didnt set specifics. Like Vaan isnt a mage or a ranger or a warrior...
Ye, it's stupid. Lulu's got her emo black mage clothes and she can one hit most monsters with a puppet. You're right about the Kimahri thing, I found him completely useless. His strength was bad, and the main skill he got in his section was Ultima which hit crap all anyway.
