To get into the Buisness Design Centre (there office)... so when they visit other Hotel Offices - the staff there know who they are... so visitors to the UK Office know who they are.

It's just like asking why do staff in Tesco or ASDA have a badge saying: ''Hi, i'm Fred!''.
