I got my sims 2 today, I put the disk in to install but nothing comes up. :S
Can anyone help?

Go to my computer and double click the sims 2 icon.

No sims 2 icon comes up.

check the disk for scratches/muck

Yeah, ive done that.. and it all seems fine.
Do i need any other sims for the sims 2 to work?

Check if you put it in the right drive?

Does your CD drive work with anything else in it? Hmmm, I am guessing you might have a CD drive when your Sims 2 game requires a DVD/CD drive...

try it in both drives, if it doesnt work in your top drive, duno what its called then
it means your drive is broke, same with DVD.

Try it on a newer PC or something and if it works its your pc if it doesnt then its the CD

sounds like the drive is busted i had it with another game before
