I think owners of their subforum should be able to make people mods and stuff in it, just to make VIP more worthwhile and because it would be uber cool. And I know somebody said something about if they get banned, the subforum would pass over to them, well you could set the subforum ID to the same as the member ID, and the only owner of the subforum can be the person with the same ID, just an idea. But to do that you must edit manually edit the script and stuff, I beleive.

that would just get abused and it would add alot more work for the VIP editors. it's a no no.

It's a decent idea, but who's to say some pathetic so-n-so will just befriend somebody to get this, then go and mess up all the threads..

I think people will like it to begin with, but then notice it's getting abused when they don't want it to be, so complain.

Well if it was me, I would only give moderator rights to people I trust and stuff. Also you could give permissions. And why would they complain, when they don't HAVE to make people moderators, so its their own fault if they do.

Well if we set it to unlimited, that'd be a mess, if at all it would be one other, but that's still a no. Also, the "passing over" thing isn't a good idea, because then they can just let their clone who doesn't even have VIP or someone who doesn't have VIP have the forum. Also, the point of banning is punishment, there would be none if the subforum just gets transferred.

I doubt we would ever allow something like this since giving VIPs mod powers is already a problem (quite a few abuse their powers). Giving it to more people is just asking for more trouble.

It will just be a 5 min thing..What do people do in there sub-forums that would require someone else to have mod powers? :S
