Last night, I was watching "what's good for you" on T.V

It was basically criticizing diets.
It proposed that they were a waste of time.
And once you saw their reasons, it was easy to believe.
When you see an add for weight loss programs on Tv, it is all about the meals that you'll still get to eat, but they're lower in FAT.
Therefore, they're going to cost more.

The host made an obvious point: "It all comes down to how much you eat. If you don't eat, you won't gain wait"
Now, this doesn't mean you can't eat, it means that if you LOWER your food intake, you WILL lose weight.
You're stomach tissue will shrink, and your body will need less food to get satisfaction.

So if you're obese, next time you don't feel very hungry, but there is a packet of chips going round, don't forget to ask yourself "do I really need this?"

but if you dont eat, then you get a bloated stomach like african children
and if you dont eat as much, then you will have an unbalanced diet, meaning that you may become ill or w.e

What I'm saying is, many obese people eat whether they are hungry or otherwise.

Eat less food, but do more exercise. So you eat 200 calories, to some exercise that will burn off 200, then you won't have put on anything, but if you to 250 calories worth of exercise, then you'd lose weight.

It all boils down to eating and not doing enough exercise, because people in our world today are lazy.

True, and that common sense should be to not eat too much and do the exercise etc...

Anyhow, I saw on TV once, this man was really fat, he lost loads of weight in a short amout of time, which is bad, because it would be easy for him to put it straight back on.

I love that show, but I missed it because I was watching the biggest loser, so I had to read it through the website because the videos from channel 9 aint working.

Now, this doesn't mean you can't eat, it means that if you LOWER your food intake, you WILL lose weight.

No it doesn't. That's rubbish.
That would be one of the slowest ways possible.
The equation goes like this:

Take in less energy + Use more energy = Lose weight
Take in same amount of energy as used = No change
Take in more energy + Use less energy = Gain weight.

So if you lower your food intake you WON'T simply lose weight.

All it was suggesting was:
A obese person sees a menu the menu says HOT PIES
Now, they think to themselves I'm not really hungry, but I love pies! So, Ima get one anyway!
It was suggesting instead of using your eyes rather than your stomach, eat when you are hungry!
K? K.

If you don't eat for ages, Your body kinda has an alarm inside. Then when you do eat, It stores every last bit of it as fat, cause it thinks that you're not getting enough food.
If I were to diet,
I'd eat low fat food, and stuff. and drink some water or something, every three hours. Or a banana or something. That way your balancing it out and your body isn't getting confused ;D And I'd have to exercise too. Obv.
