Bit of a pronouncation tip, if they have an umlaut (two dots over the letter)
the o produces more of a ew sound.

For example, Ich möchte, möchte would be pronounced mersh-ter

we got taught merk-ter but the other set get taught mersh-ter.. depends what region in germany is it the way you pronounce it.

& the only thing you really need to know in german is:

saugen meine hahn (sp?)

north/south divide of germany.

They have different ways of pronouncing but they will know what you mean.

Mok-terYeah but even then it's merk-ter because of the umlaut
