Hello,

The reason you do not appreciate the prices is because you do not have such a big knowledge as the internet as we do. £5 for a banner on a homepage which is increasing by hundreds of uniques a week is like pennies to them, whereas the majority of posters in this thread are still at school not earning money, so £5 to them would be a lot more then a full grown business. Even if they got one click back and bought a big item/service, they'd have made their money back. The likelihood of the matter is that you'd be getting hundreds more then one click a month, espicially with the fact that we're obviously purchasing our own advertising, and the amount of unique for the very short time we've been open is already very large for a brand new business, espicially one that offers something unique and is not just sharing another sites fanbase system (Fansite)

Thankyou,

Please may I just add that if you have any more of the unneccesary comments broadcasted above, that you direct these actually to us by clicking here (http://www.doberry-firkins.com/site/index.php?id=contactus) and filling in the form and then one of our Customer Service Representatives will gladly attempt to assist you.

Hi,

You obviously misread the above where I said we have a team of Customer Service Representatives, all I am is a marketing officer, please read more carefully next time before showing yourself up

Yah, sorry to interrupt your uber sex arguments here, but this site is rather.... bland so to speak, I could have a 9 (possibly 10, depending on how slow the kid is) year old design that.

Then you come to a forum which is maintained and ran by (wait for it... CHILDREN / Teenagers and I think Sierk is an adult?) and expect them (the users) to be able to fork over what seems an unrealistic amount for a simple piece of code on a site.

The name, you say you need something catchy and effective? who's going to remember "Doberry-Firkins" (I wont rant about the name as it could be someones name)

Think about your targeted audience, do you really expect 15 year olds such as myself to be selling cars?

NO.

Please, tell your head boss man or whatever to take their / his / her / it's website and leave us alone.
