Just because you think your better looking than someone, doesn't mean other people agree with you. Alot of other people may think there alot better looking than you for example, they just don't say it as its seen as being mean to you "/

I do to an extent. Some people think I'm quite big headed at times, hehe, but normally I'm only having a laugh. Also, although I'm aware of some stuff I'm good at and positive aspects in relation to me, I'm fully aware of all the negative ones as well - and I'm not shy about admitting them.

People with big ego's are generally portrayed as quite arrogant to be honest. It gets a bit tiresome hearing someone telling people just how amazing and perfect they are. A lot of the time you'll find not everyone agrees with you 100% so when someone is sitting rambling on all day about how wonderful they are... it does get a bit tedious.

Nothing wrong with a bit of ego, but there is something wrong if you insist you are the worlds greatest person, an example to them all.

If the only thing that makes you positive is thinking "heck im hot" then I don't think you have much reason to be positive, it's all about personality and just the way you don't get into arguments etc, just being a nice person can give you ego, which I think is the best type to be fair.

I've got a rather large ego, not because of my looks but they way I present myself and my wittyness and intelligence, I know there's a lot better, smarter, good-looking people out there comparing to me (understatement) but I believe if you don't look at your good points and tell yourself them, you may aswell just have no confidence at all. Even my dad says i'm arrogant and got a giant ego, but HEY when have I denied it?

I think you're right, to an extent. Telling people you're better looking than them is extremely ignorant.
