Not really, it's like a quick shock that doesn't hurt much and then it just throbs for a bit and feels hot.

I got mine done at christmas. Honestly from the bottom of my heart, if you want it done, then get it done. Its like a pinch. infact its not even a pinch, she was like "okay done" i was like WHATttttt, i never even felt it.. i went to claire accesories :D
