Yet again I flew Southampton to Jersey, this time with Tenatious.

We were scheduled to take off at 1900 but we changed as we were both ready to 1845.

Both takeoffs were smooth, and looked good.

During flight we lost each other (I sumhow ended up 18nm infront of him!)

During the landings, this was the fun part.

Having AutoPilot on for the whole flight then taking control. It is a hard task for me! :)

"I came in from the east and had my airbrakes on (losing altitude fast). I though I would fall short so, I took off my airbrakes. Landed about 25ft into the runway absoluetly perfectly. No bouncing, just smoothly connected and immediatley I hit the brakes. I managed to stop just before the end of the runway. Probably my best landing ever."

Tenatious was landing now, here is what he said to me on msn about it:
"I came in without autopilot this time. Made that mistake last flight. I put my flaps to 15 and glided in at about 500ft per minute. I thought I was going to miss the runway and land on the grass but for the first time I was bang on target. After slightly bouncing the first attempt I landed succesfully and stopped short of the runway end."

I then dc'd as I taxiid to a gate :(

Tenatious managed to get a picture of his plane, I'm sure he will post it! :)

Tbh, which button did you press for the back door? :P

As in shift etc. :P

Its not a default keyset on FS2004. Look for in the keyboard settings an option for winghook and tailhook. One of them does the backdoor and one does the back steps.

kk. tenatious, if thats happening, increase your throttle just before the runway, let it go again.
