of course we will all jump off the bridge if every1 else did =]

if your not wanting anyone to know you do, you shouldn't of started in first place. You should of known the risks of smoking before you actully started;
obv. the addiction and bad health, the stink, shortens your life etc..
you should get someone in real to actully help you stop other than the random people on a forum =]

At the end of the day, who are we to preach to you about the health risks in relation to smoking? You know fine well yourself how bad smoking is for you, and how unattractive and unappealing it is towards other people. Therefore, if you wish to have that repulsive nature due to cigarettes - whilst living with the constant risk and fear of getting caught - then by all means go ahead and continue smoking.

However, if you've realised yourself now that smoking isn't what it's cracked up to be, and you want out of it before the mess gets a whole lot worse... then the simple answer is to give up.

As you have only recently started smoking, giving up now is the best time for you to do so. You've experienced something many teenagers naturally do, but put it down to an experience and move on from it now.

Honestly - what benefits are you getting out of it..? Ask yourself that. You not only have a repulsive odour and gradually a repelling look in regard to smoking, but you are having to put up with this constant fear of being found out off your parents/teachers. Therefore, is it really worth all that stress and hassle - just because some other idiots want to do it?

I understand you are still at school and peer pressure does take a big part in teenage life. However, you need to rise above this and say no. If these so called friends of yours think your un-cool because you don't smoke - then quite clearly they arn't friends at all and you can find other people who appreciate you for who you are, not for some stereotypcial macho, chav who they think is cool.

Dude, they may be a big part in your life now - but by letting them influencing your life by making you smoke etc. it can have a terrible effect in your later life. When you mature and grow up a bit you probably will end up losing contact with these people anyway, and over time part from them. Therefore, I ask, is it really worth putting your own mental stability as well as your personal health at risk just because of some silly friends?!

a non smoker can smell a smoker from miles, If you dont want any one to catch u then stop.
Its a stupid thing to do, and as the new law so you cant smoke in public places, u wont be able to smoke any where.
Also, Read the Big Message on the Box, its very true :)
Also, nicotean shouldn't get you addicted in 2 weeks. Your probably not addcited, so its very easy to stop. Just over take your brain :)

I smoke too, it does wonders for my image. I feel the need to fit in and I find
damaging my own health helps me do this.

as a experienced smoker iv been smoking for well over a year regret it in some ways but not in others the reason i smoke is i feel it relieves stress etc. i feel happier when iv had one etc. therefore i am addicted i STRONGLY advise you NOT to start smoking especially for a image seeing as it harms your health etc.

to be fair, nicotean is more addcitive than heowin, so getting addicated aint hard, so stop as soon as possibles advisable.

As an exstention to Ostinato post, a point he missed is How much the bloody things cost, I mean imagine keeping the habbit for a few years, cigs aint cheap and your gona end up spending one hell of alot of money makeing yourself smell, which could just as easly be spent on having fun, going out with friends and buying stuff you minght actualy want o.0

It's smoking, do what you want. It's your life, and several million people in britain do it. Mostly all my mate's do it and i do it too, I don't really see problem(s) with you smoking, as long as it wasn't peer pressure that got you started: by the looks of it, it did. I suggest you think it through and then make your desision. And 3 cigarette's a day isn't that bad, i doubt you'll stick at that though. I normally smoke about 10 a day, at weekends 20 a day, or more.

Lol, imo it is easy to stop smoking..

I was smoking (about) 6 a day (not alot but still).

Then one day my mate was having a coughing fit (like really bad he couldn't breathe) and I just gave up then and there.
