An easy one is Manchester to Heathrow. Easy takeoff and landing just follow the gps and can't go wrong. How experienced with the fligh controls are you? And what plane do you use?

LOL

1day experience.

LOLOLOLOL

And I dont know which aircraft :D

Im trying to taxi but I cannot go straight with keyboard.

I either go right or left

Ahh yes, keybord is very very hard. Joystick makes life alot easier.

Try the cessnas as their easy to handal and once you are good in that then try the B737. Instead of TAxing, set it to automatic runway lineup. So you are straigh on the runway when you load the flight.

I won a joystick on ebay today.

So it should be here soon.

I had a flightplan. Heathrow to Manchester.

And I end up halfway to spain/portugal.

Atc SUCK!

Ye, these codes I dont understand yet.

I am only good at landing with a engine failure LOL

Which I woulda fought was harder

it is probs easy, cos when you land you have to turn the power down so the plane starts to drop. if you have a total engine failure the plane will drop so it will be easy :D

about the tips well i am needing some tipps, like where do you lot get the planes, when i get addons i dont realy get that much planes maybe 1-5

OMGitsaROSS

Easiest it probably:

Southampton - EGHI
Jersey - EGJJ

45 Minutes of pure flying, no turning except for one at the end! :)

The best way to taxi i would say is to like rev the throttle. LIke up and down instead of keeping it on low. It workd for me.

If you want a smooth sflight i would say manchester to liverpool using a cassesna as there good to start with. Dont start with a 747 as they are hard to use at first. and i agree, use a joystick.

or use the panel

I SLAM PARKIN BRAKES SOMTIMES I GET SO ANOYED LOLOL

Yoshimitsui
08-03-2007, 03:49 PM
lol, well lower your speed on aproach and apply speedbrakes then cut spped brakes extend to necisery falps and when you touch down Aplly reverse thrust and speedbrakes, esasy :D

OMGitsaROSS

Thust - Minimum

Airbrakes - / - on

Thats how to slow down

ScottDiamond

Or use the flaps. :)

I actually really enjoy flying the Beechcraft from Jersey to Southhampton - nice and smooth and if you fly at night you can see all of the south lit up. :)

Turns are involved in the SID (Standard Instrument Departure) at Southampton and the STAR (Standard Terminal Arrival Route) at Jersey.

And you know how to do a full flight, doing everything correctly do you? - I think not, and for a post like that you've just lost everything you had to do with TravelWorld Virtual Airways.

Okay guys and gals, the approach speed someone is going at (510kts) is FAR TOO FAST.. The maximum approach speed in a B767 is 180knts.. So the aircraft you are flying, should be ALOT slower..

To slow the aircraft down, use the correct amount of flaps, and speedbrakes if needed.. You idealy want to touch down at about 141kts in a 767-300 aircraft.. About 100ft above the runway, close the thrust leavers (about 5% power) for the flare and the landing, about 10ft above the runway ****** the thrust leavers (idle) and on touch down go into reverse thrust mode, deploy your spoilers (speedbrakes) and use the manual breaking system which is pressing the (.) key!

Me and mate do Filton to Jersey, Plenty of good flying, Turning, Bit of wind :) makes it interesting, Takes about an hour and half

ScottDiamond

How do you reverse the thrusts?

Adam!
08-03-2007, 06:46 PM
Bring the throttle right back, and then pull it further back and reverse thrust should be selected.

Yoshimitsui
08-03-2007, 08:19 PM
No the Reverse thrust canot be diployed by doinf that it has to b done manually with the mouse or keybord. As on a plane you pull two/four leveres on top of the throttle.

ScottDiamond
08-03-2007, 08:26 PM
How do you do it with your keyboard?

OMGitsaROSS
08-03-2007, 08:28 PM
Don't is the simple answer ;D

It is alot easier (imo) to use a joystick

Adam!

I fly real life alot, just so you know ;)

And thats what I said, PULL THE THOTTLE FURTHER BACK... Which will do EXACTLY the same as keyboard ways..

Im taking it you guys all have freeware planes, thats why I say pull it all the way back.. If you have Level D 767 then you have to click the 2 litle leavers behind the main thottle levers on the throttle quadrent, as this engages the reversers..

Btw, if turn the reversers off at about 60knts, as real life it would end up melting the engines (as would going full throttle on takeoff - Never use full thottle unless for an emergency or go around, and then only for 10 minutes!)

Yoshimitsui
08-03-2007, 08:36 PM
Yeah, cos on my throtlle if i pull it all the wayback it just cuts the engines, i cant deploy Revere thrust this way, so i use keys ;)
