Does it matter if you train one skill?
Then train another?

Like if i train magic to 70
then attack to 60
then str to 60

would it be the same combat lvl in the end if i was to
train mage to 50
then 60 att
then 50 str
then 70 mage
to 60 str
and such?
+REP FOR HELP :]

Of course it'd be the same, otherwise everyone would get one combat skill to 99 and be like level 49 or whatever they are, and then train all the other combat skills to 99, and if combat didn't go up, you'd have level 50s and stuff with 99 everything.

all the combat skills are related in such a way that training any one of them has an effect on your combat level.

with the exception for range and mage (i think)

say you have 50 att, str or def

training either range or mage upto level 50 will not effect your combat level as long as it doesnt go above your highest level combat skill

i think it works like that anyway

Mage & Range give 50% of a level.
So if you get thoughs two up 1 level each, you shall have gained one combat level.

Attack, Strength, Defence & Hitpoints all give 25% of a level.
So getting all them up by one level will give you an extra combat level.

I'm unsure about prayer.

Also it would not matter what ever way you train your levels.
If you train strength to level 50 then attack to 50 you will be the same combat as if you had trained them together.

you'll never get anywhere with it.

a pure trains mage/range with a str combo.

a hybrid does prayer mage+range and str or attack.

but, stop with all the threads, monkey madness and even dt is hard for you.

Use your common sense you moron. 70 Attack and 1 Strength will hit 3's max. Jesus. Range & mage doesnt matter though. Nor defence.

it actually isnt :(

mage/str is good.

range/ def is good.

cause with maging as a ranger you hardly get any magic bonus with the hide u've got on.
