Well 1 pound for assistant managers/administrators/smods and 2 for managers (if I remember correctly). Normal staff dont get paid though.

You buy VIP for the added features. Not having advertisements was never billed as a feature - and the ads have always been here anyway, just at the bottom. All the profits raised pay for Habbox and its associated sites (i.e. the Forum).

Well when we think about this, there are 6 sites to run:

- HabboxTV
- HabboxLive
- Habbox.com
- HabboxForum.com
- HabboxForum.us
- HabboxForum.ca

Considering that Habbox.com and Habboxforum.com have custom servers to deal with the huge size of the forum, that costs a pretty penny by itself. Then we have to buy domain and hosting for HabboxTV, the US and CA forums, and pay vBulletin for their software. Also, HabboxLive was recently upgraded to 3,000 listeners so more stuff still. The sites aren't cheap, sometimes sierk has to pay out of his back pocket, I don't know how much he has to any more, but he has paid for it before, the sites aren't cheap to maintain ;)

To run HabboxForum and other Habbox Sites costs a lot of money per month. I think sometimes people think that we can just pay for the £2.50 a month basic hosting package or something that everyone else uses when that isn't the case :p
