Ever wondered why there is a Moderator is on call 24/7, 52 weeks a year. Mods are always there is to watch out for your online safety. We don’t want any of you coming to harm while your on Habbo.http://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/content/404_G.gif
Most of you know not to give out your email address or even worse where you live or your phone number, but some don’t, or they do but think they can get away with doing it. Not so! Habbo's Mods have eagle eyes and you can bet your life a safety conscious Habbo will report anyone doing that.

Sadly, often when Habbos report other Habbos it's for the wrong reasons, just to get them in trouble. Or their call says “Ban this naughty Habbo for flooding my room”

Why? Habbo have given you wonderful tools to let you take control of these situations. - If it’s your room kick the flooder out and lock your room, or tell everyone in the room to put that Habbo on IGNORE. The only time you should send a Call for Help reporting a flooder is if the flooder is in a Public room or is advertising a scam site or something else naughty. The same applies to Blockers and those Habbos who, quite frankly, could do with cleaning their mouths with soap! Use that trusty IGNORE (http://www.habbo.co.uk/help/news/article021.html) tool.

You have control, decide if a busy Mod needs to know or if you can deal with it yourself, and help others deal with it.

Another really good idea is to read all the useful articles on the homepage in the Help section. Also, refresh your Habbo knowledge with the FAQs (http://www.habbo.co.uk/help/faqs). While you're there, read the Player Support Blogs (http://www.habbo.co.uk/help/ps_blog/week_10_07.html), they are a mine of information.

Habbo staff including Player Support on the Habbo Help Tool (http://www.habbohotel.co.uk/iot/go?lang=en&country=uk), are there to help you and to keep you safe. But most of your questions can be easily answered by reading the site, if you have a look.

So before you send that call, stop and think to be absolutely sure that what you are calling for is a real emergency.

Err hello sulake, Flooding is supposed to be against the Habbo Way?

Ignore tool is great when you need you do maze, remember YOUR in control when you "Ignore a blocker" :rolleyes:

Scrap the MODS as they have no purpose anymore except sending Ignore messages.

Yeah flooding should be against the Habbo Way because it is extremely annoying and causes lagg. Mods should do their jobs when it comes to blockers etc because it just destroys everyone elses Habbo experience. At the end of the day, Sulake need us to enjoy Habbo as much as possible. :rolleyes:

Yes but I don't think it's fair that 1 - 3 Moderator's have to moderate the hotel getting prank CFH's and actully going to them.. Blocking is what habbo's about partly you just live with it or leave with the room. And as its a chat room you should really move around unless its a game room or w/e... and flooding SHOULDENT be agaisnt the habboway because the actul program isn't NOTHINK to do with habbo and it isn't annoying unless you dont use IGNORE :)

I think its wrong to just be told to ignore swearers and flooders etc :o the new habbos wont know to ignore and could affect them returning to the game. I dont mind swearing but dont do it on habbo as its against the habbo way :o if they are not going to ban maybe they should remove it from the rules and let us swear all we like.

Well all new comers shout report to the welcome lounge to be greeted and helped by habbo eXpert's. and newcomer's wouldn't mind as they would think it's a swearing virtual site, unless your a boring soul..

If its against the habbo way to swear they could ban the culprit in the time used to send you a message telling u to ignore.

I dont want swearing on the hotel but if they are not going to ban for it most of the time why have it as a rule.

I reported some guy swearing really badly and was told to ignore and he was still swearing 25 mins later :s I just wont bother or waste my time to report anything anymore which is a pretty sad state of affairs.

When I joined they didn't have a problem banning people who where swearing/flooding.

Well you probally never joined when the IGNORE tool was introduced, if your that dumb then click a person flooding/Swearing and press IGNORE and it's no longer your problem, okay?

Surely if they can waste time alerting us to use the ignore tool they should just ban the swearer instead though? it would take a little longer to do the ban but if 5 people reported the offender it would be quicker to ban them? common sense if you ask me but thats just my under valued opinion ;)
