Actualy, it used to be the fad before djpanels, usersystems etc, its just a reimmergence, although as opposed to the unfounded claims and no product ones in the past im currenly working on a project which should be reading for basic testing soon, aka alpha testing to check all the algrothums keep predicatble sinc when more people log in to it. (its an asyncunos system)

To be honest following everyone else and doing what they are doing is pointless. Its better to do something different I think. Just people have seen other people create successful online games or DJ panels and have though "oh I'd love to make something like that" at the moment I'm just working on new set of kernels to mess with and some other work, I'd rather do something like that that's different rather than make another game or whatever.

Whos making another game, as far as i know, no isometric game has ever been completed which is completely browser based (ajax/dhtml) etc? One of my main motives is to prove the point makeing em, aint impossible

I suppose but it isn't easy to make a good online game. Being honest I wouldn't like to jump in that boat and try it. :P

Text based games are begging to gain popularity such as Ogame because they are now more graphical and the use of AJAX means that they run alot more smoothly so there is less page reloading.

Yes i know quite a few people who play Ogame I think its mainly because you can play them at school.
