You have to consider a few things;

Before you go ahead and ask her make sure you actually do like her back, and that your not going to ask her to fill a void that you currently have, or to have abit of arm candy to show off. Otherwise its never going to work from the start.

If you get along with her easy, have a laugh, enjoy her company and are attracted to her for who she is and not what she is, then go ahead and ask. Like i said in another thread, rejection can only make you stronger.
