Good call saying to get official, I bought a core and have gone through 2 3rd party ones that have both broke. I'm after an official one now but no shops have them.

Well it's served me well for over a year now... :S And unfortunately Azul its' out of warranty by a few months.

I'm thinking I might buy one from a shop then take my old one back and say it's faulty xD Worth a try.

how do you get through so many? just carelessness, or does the microphone die or what?

They just seem to die on me, I don't miss use them or owt. At one point I had two and they both died at the same time. Go figure.

im on my third now, i had mine first one about 7 months then that died, went and brought a new one that lasted a couple of months then that broke, now im on the one that came free with the Live Camera

1 xbox 360 and 1 headset down, hey now all we have to do is start on hard drives and controllers, woot! I wouldnt use Microsoft's warranty anyway, it's waiting another week or so to get a new one, which is stupid in my opinion.

I've had my 360 since november and its still perrrrfect =D, 'part from the whole thing freezes in the middle of a game and i have to reboot it :(
