First of all the people who havent got anything positive to say at all, dont say it. Keep those negative thoughts in your mind and don't try to affect others with them.


Typo i can see your going through a hard time at the moment, i assure you have been through my of them, maybe not in the same circumstances as you have but ive been there.

You need to sit down with your mum and talk about how her drinking and you two argueing all the time is having a serious affect on you. Offer her advice and set some arrangement for your mother to see a specialist/councilor/AA meeting for her alcohol problem. And both of you to see a family councilor so you can sort out your differences. Most of all mate, don't give up and do your best to make your mum proud of you.

Just think of the homeless, the poor, the lonely, the people how are disabled.
How can you compare yourself to them. I think a gf is least of the troubles for people who are so poor, they cant feed their kids, the kids have to work from a young age, I think you need to think of others mate, and not care that your life is rubbish.

Different people have different circumstances yes, and there is people all around the world worse off than someone but until your in that situation where your creator and guardian, and someone you love more than anything is suffering it is hard to watch. How can you compare that to someone else's circumstances? You cant because you have to experience it before you can comment.

It's not worth it. You have years to live. To be honest relationships aren't the most important thing in the world at your age, concentrate on your school work and having a decent set of friends. You'll feel better about yourself.

Put it this way, my friend slits his wrists because his mother is beaten by his dad. The mum is in denile by it and trys to keep everything together by when he goes to phycatrists in the hospital hes told he cant say anything about his mum getting beaten otherwise he'll loose certain privlages and items.

He also got told that when he reaches 16, he has to leave or pay a £25 week rent. So yes, there are other people in certain situations worse than yours. Think about how lucky you are to have a mother, even though she drinks she still loves you.

anyway, dude, i'm going through something much much worst than you. but still i try my best to go through each and every day and just, well, stay strong. life is a journey and it will always throw crap and problems at you. you must always stay strong and fight these problems in order to achieve and live a happy life.
