Right , i got a task to kill something which i cant remember ( they were high level ) on my maul pure.. so i went to burthorpe and changed it and no i have to kill 20 odd birds. BUT I HAVE TO DO MONKEY MADNESS TO GET TO THEM? anybody know if there is another location?

try killing a gnome terrorbird thing in the stronghold and see if your slayer xp goes up

im sure chicken count as bird or you can go on entrana and kill entrana bird :) im sure for the entrana and maybe the chicken/bird on port sarim
