wooh i put stupid amount, altho it probaly aint.. hiring all pixel artists and mods etc.Remember that you don't usually start out with a hellish amount of money and buy all the staff on a whim. ;) Also remember that the roots of Habbo started as a small project between two Finnish youths... so it would be perfectly feasible financially, until you decided you wanted to let it grow (like Habbo has done).

But simply copying an idea like Habbo is a bit pointless, to tell you the truth. ;) Ask any successful entrepreneur what their secret to success is, and many will tell you there are two main steps:
1. Come up with a totally original idea.
2. Keep backing your idea with enthusiasm.

as Barmi said, you start off with hardly any money, the more work and the more effort you put into it, the more people will want to find out about it/play it which equals more money.

Yes she made like 1 million off it but if she held onto Habbo Uk she could have earned well over 20 million, Habbo's worth 34 Mil now and she sold it for 1 mil. Bad times , She still made 1 mil , good times.

If its a large based one, about the size of Habbo now, it must be more than 10,000 pounds. If its a small one, I'd say 1000+ pounds.
