There was 3 nuns and they all went to an electric store to buy a t.v costing £30. They all decide to pay £10 each. The sales man sells it them and then off they go.
Afterwards, the manager tells the sales man that the t.v had been reduced to £25 and to give £5 back to the nuns.
So the sales man decides to keep £2 from the £5 to keep for his self, and each gives the nuns £1 back each. SO altogether the nuns have actually only paid £9 each.
Lets do the math...
£9
£9
+ £9
£2 = £29

So what happened to the other pound?!?



Answer : There is NO answer!! I don't think anyway...unless there are some expert maths people out there?!

It depends how you look at the question:

Each nun pays £10
10+10+10 = 30
The man keeps £2
30 - 2 = 28
The nuns get £3 back between them
28 - 3 = 25

Simple, it just depends how your brain works. There is a better way to remember it, I'll dig it up in a bit.
