i dont actually no if any of you have read this for yourself but while surfing the site i found this article, dont no if itll intrest you?:

"I am sick and tired of all the comments. The press published the story with evidence of the story. I may only be 17, but that doesn't matter. The company is registered to the legal address, and the information provided is for legal purposes only.

I have been reading comments through 56 forums, and to be honest, you lot don't know what the real story is. Believe what you want, just don't bother criticising me for my decision.

If you feel the stories were total rubbish, why read them? Why all the fuss over 1 little letter and phonecall I received!

I appreciate the support and those who visit the website, but I want to get on with my life. The press release has ruined the image of the website, and has indeed ruined my school career."

Sorry if you new this already :)

Hes not, he obviously knows what hes doing if he got his site to have so many hits and have the idea. The hits on the site have probably been increasing, eg The founder of mcdonalds sold his shares in the company for $1 mill.

Would you turn down 8.5 for a site that looks as bad as that?

LOL AT ONE OF THE PARTNERS:
HabboAlist - it seems as if Nick is a Habbo fan...

Only someone incredibly moronic would turn down £8.5mil

ALSO: http://www.sharpenews.co.uk/sn/article/print/?id=2231
That was from THURSDAY.

If he didn't want the attention then why make the site?

It seems to me his plan has backfired. He used his brain for advertising etc, but he didnt plan on being criticised so much for doing what he thinks was right, and is crumbling under his own created pressure. That article prooves that a 17 year old runs such a big company, throwing a hissy fit because he can't handle abit of criticism.

That's what so bad about teenage entrepreneurs - they can't handle any bit of criticism.

For me personally no, i would of took the offer very swiftly and if what he said in the article on the DailyMail was true, i'd profit the 4 million pounds and bring me and my family a better quality of life and with that a better lifestyle, move on to bigger and better things and concentrate on my education.

After all 4 million pounds for five years of work, doing what you love; isn't bad at all is it?

Nick Coates, CEO, is starring on BBC Five Live tonight!

He calls himself the Cheif Executive Officer. He's 17, you need to be 18 and fully registered to be a "CEO". ;l

If what he said was true, he wouldn't go on the radio.

He contradicts himself way to much.

Who am I to say though?, It serves its purpose and he obviously knows more about his site than any of us so I dont think we can really judge.

Lol, I doubt he's stupid - no teenager in the world would turn down £8mil without a good reason.

Thanks for the comments!!!!!!

None of you know the reasons behind it, so don't even attempt to try and state why I didn't sell it.

And some of you need to look into the business more before ******** it off.

And yes, I am Shrazor on HabboHotel.

And yes, I am DJ NickC on HabboxLive

And yes, I am Nick C on HabboAlist.

Make the connections?

Oh, and I tend to use the word 'Young Person' - Teenager doesn't fit in here.

And here is yet again more proof to add to my first statement that your plan has backfired on you something terrible in the fact that you can't accept criticism.

If you was half the entrepreneur and 'level headed' young man the media and your head teacher made you out to be you wouldnt of commented at all; you would of just used this to motivate yourself to make your site even more successful and proove people wrong in the fact that you did make the right decesion turning down the offer.

Frog!
